Vaneck Semiconductor is slightly up on the day, it isn't making a very strong move but still up 0.75%. We'll see if it can keep moving up or not. It looks like SMH may be interacting with an upward sloping support line. These can create nice entry points since it can have both momentum and support. In addition to being near an angled support line SMH is near a weak support line. We'll see if it bounces off or heads lower. The company has been chopping around the last few months without a clear directional momentum. So it may move up from this point, but hard to say.
If we get a reversal off of support and Vaneck Semiconductor starts moving up, it can probably get to $258.35 at which point it'll need to break through that resistance level in order to keep moving higher. If it fails to bounce off this level and breaks down lower, it will most likely find the nearest support a the $195.8
at which point, it may have a chance of recovering from there.
