The ETF is up on the day, since yesterday the market segment is up 1.18%. It looks like XOP may be interacting with a downward sloping Support line. It may find or support at this level or it's momentum can continue downward. In addition to being near an angled support line XOP is near a weak support line. We'll see if it bounces off or heads lower. Momentum wise Spdr S&p Oil & Gas Exploration & Production, hasn't been very high in either direction over the last 3 month. So hard to say what it will do here.
If we get a reversal off of support and Spdr S&p Oil & Gas Exploration & Production starts moving up, it can probably get to $178.56 at which point it'll need to break through that resistance level in order to keep moving higher. If it punches through this support level, it can easily push down to $136.69 where it may meet further support, hopefully it can consolidate around that point.
