Not a great day for the fund, 2x Long Vix Futures fail -6.93% today, not what the owners wanted to see. Increased risk for the market segment caused sellers to come into the market and dump shares.
Currently UVIX isn't at a clear support/resistance line that seems tradable. 2x Long Vix Futures hasn't been looking too hot recently, some shareholders have been dumping shares over the last few months which has been driving prices down. In the past 3 months, the ETF has lost -28.18 of it's value. So it's not looking great, I'd probably wait for a clearer support level before coming in. UVIX might find some support at the 38.8 level, buyers might push the price back up from here. But it's not very clear what will happen.
